Partly. Inovaflow does much of the integration and implementation work that system integrators do, but one system, one flow, or one rollout at a time rather than enterprise-wide programs. We are five senior engineers and architects in Prague, usually quote a fixed price within 24–48 hours of a scoping call, and typically deliver in 2–4 weeks (1–2 weeks when scope is well defined) at EUR 3,000–15,000 per integration, depending on system complexity and scope. Choose us for a specific connector, MCP server, or tool rollout, and an SI for a multi-year program. We also work inside SI-led programs.
“System integrator” is a term that means something precise to the people who buy from them and something vague to everyone else. Inovaflow connects enterprise systems to each other and to AI agents, which puts us in the neighborhood, so it is a fair question whether we belong in the category.
The honest answer has two sides. On the work itself, there is a lot of overlap. On how the work is organized, staffed, and priced, we are built differently, and that difference decides which of us is right for a given project. This page covers what a system integrator is, where Inovaflow overlaps and differs, and when you should hire someone else.
If you are comparing options more broadly, How SaaS Companies Handle Enterprise API Integrations covers the three main approaches, and How to Choose an API Integration Partner covers evaluation criteria.
What is a system integrator?
A system integrator (SI) is a company that combines software, hardware, and services from multiple vendors into one working system for a client, and takes responsibility for the result.
In enterprise IT, the name usually points to firms such as Accenture, Deloitte, and Capgemini, plus regional and SAP/Oracle/Microsoft-focused implementation partners. Their typical projects are large: a greenfield ERP rollout, an ECC-to-S/4HANA migration across several business units, or an organization-wide platform consolidation.
Scale defines the model. Accenture, for example, reported 779,000 employees at the end of fiscal 2025. Engagements are staffed in layers, from partners and program managers down to consultants and analysts, and governed with steering committees and change requests. Large consultancies and SIs typically bill $150–500 per hour, and a typical engagement costs EUR 50,000–200,000+ over 2–6 months.
That model exists for good reasons. A company migrating its ERP across 20 countries needs one accountable party to coordinate vendors, data, training, and change management, and an SI supplies that coordination. For programs of that shape it is the right choice. The cost of the model shows up on smaller jobs, where the same layers of coordination sit on top of a task one engineer could finish.
Is Inovaflow a system integrator?
Partly: Inovaflow does integration and implementation work that system integrators also do, but we take it on one system, one flow, or one rollout at a time and do not run enterprise-wide programs.
For enterprise teams, that means connecting the systems you already run (SAP to Salesforce, NetSuite to Salesforce, SAP to Coupa, Workday to the rest of your stack), implementing the tools you buy (configuration, data migration, project management, testing, training, and handover), and putting AI on top of your ERP. That list overlaps heavily with an SI’s, applied at the size of a project instead of a program.
For B2B SaaS companies, we build reusable MCP and API connectors that live in your product’s integration library, publish apps to third-party marketplaces, and build the one-off integration a single customer deal depends on. This side of our work has no direct SI equivalent, because it is engineering delivered as code inside a software vendor’s own repository.
A more accurate label than “system integrator” is “specialist integration engineering team”. We do not run a program office, staff dozens of consultants, or take accountability for an organization-wide transformation. We build and ship integrations that are usually part of that transformation.
How is Inovaflow different from a traditional system integrator?
Inovaflow differs from a traditional SI in team size, who does the work, the scope of a typical project, delivery time, and price.
| Traditional system integrator | Inovaflow | |
|---|---|---|
| Team | Hundreds to hundreds of thousands of staff, layered by seniority | Five senior engineers and architects |
| Who you work with | Account and program managers, then a delivery team | The engineers building it, directly on Slack or WhatsApp, with weekly demos of real data moving |
| Typical project | Multi-department program: ERP rollout, migration, consolidation | One system, one flow, one connector, one MCP server, or one tool rollout |
| Timeline | 2–6 months typical | 2–4 weeks; 1–2 weeks when scope is well defined |
| Price | EUR 50,000–200,000+ per engagement, plus usual overtime | EUR 3,000–15,000 per integration, fixed quote |
Ranges depend on system complexity and scope, and a scoping call produces a fixed quote.
Speed comes from two places. The first is focus: we spend our time on SAP, NetSuite, Dynamics 365, Salesforce, Coupa, Workday, and a handful of neighboring systems, so we are rarely learning a system on your project. The second is sandboxes. We maintain our own environments for major ERPs (SAP S/4HANA, NetSuite, D365, Coupa, Workday), so we start building on day one instead of waiting weeks for access. On our S/4HANA MCP work, a core server with three tools took five working days.
We are not the cheapest option for a simple API with good documentation, and for standard workflows a platform can be the better fit. The next sections cover when each approach makes sense.
How can a five-person team handle enterprise projects?
By limiting how many projects each person runs: nobody on our team works on more than 3–5 at once (depending on complexity), and each project is scoped to a single system or flow.
Everyone on the team is a senior solution architect, engineer, or developer who has shipped integrations into real enterprise systems. There is no handover to a delivery team you have not met, and no account manager between you and the engineer.
Inovaflow itself started in early 2025, but the team’s experience is older than the company. Before founding it, we spent four years inside Rossum implementing its platform for enterprise customers, and on almost every one of those projects the connection to SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, Coupa, or Dynamics decided whether the project went well. That is why we made integration our whole job.
A small team carries real risks, and the biggest one is capacity: we cannot run 15 projects at once, so when we are full we say so up front instead of staffing your project thinly.
When should you hire a system integrator instead of Inovaflow?
Hire a traditional SI when the project is a multi-year, organization-wide program, such as a greenfield ERP rollout, a migration across many business units, or any effort that needs dozens of consultants and formal change management.
Hire us when the project is a defined piece of integration work: connecting two systems, building an MCP server so an AI agent can read from and write to your ERP, publishing your app in a marketplace, or rolling out a tool your team has already bought. Those projects have a clear finish line, and a fixed-quote, weeks-not-quarters model fits them.
The two are not mutually exclusive. On larger programs the SI often runs the overall plan while a specialist team builds the integration layer.
If you are weighing us against platforms rather than SIs, our guide to the best integration platforms covers when an iPaaS or unified API is the better answer, and build in-house or outsource covers the wider decision.
How do you find out whether Inovaflow fits your project?
Book a 30-minute scoping call with the people who would build it: you get a timeline and a fixed quote, usually within 24–48 hours, and the call is free.
On the call we map the systems involved, decide which service fits (including when the honest answer is a cheaper option or a different vendor), and identify what would make the project harder than it looks. Pricing runs EUR 3,000–15,000 per integration depending on system complexity and scope, and the quote is fixed once the scope is agreed.
A project is usually a good fit when it involves one system or a defined set of flows, can be described well enough to scope in a conversation, and benefits from code you own. It is usually a poor fit when it needs a large team working in parallel from day one, or when the goal is organization-wide change rather than a working integration.
FAQ
Is Inovaflow a system integrator?
Partly. Inovaflow does integration and implementation work that system integrators also do, but it takes that work on one system, one flow, or one rollout at a time with a five-person senior team, and it does not run enterprise-wide transformation programs. A more accurate label is specialist integration engineering team.
Is Inovaflow an SAP partner?
Yes, Inovaflow is an SAP solution partner with sandbox access across the SAP product line, not only S/4HANA. Inovaflow, SAP Solution Partner explains what that means in practice and what we build against SAP’s APIs and MCP tooling.
How big is Inovaflow, and where is it based?
Inovaflow is a family company in Prague (Karlín), operated by INOVA Management s.r.o. The team is five people: solution architects, engineers, and developers, all senior and hands-on. Nobody runs more than 3–5 projects at once, depending on complexity, and customers span Europe, the US, and APAC.
How much does Inovaflow cost compared with a system integrator?
Inovaflow charges EUR 3,000–15,000 per integration, depending on system complexity and scope, with a fixed quote after a scoping call. System integrators typically quote EUR 50,000–200,000+ for an engagement running 2–6 months. What Custom API Integrations Really Cost breaks down what drives the difference.
Can Inovaflow work alongside a system integrator?
Yes. On larger programs the SI usually runs the overall plan while a specialist team builds the integration layer. We took that role on an Oracle Fusion migration for a global hospitality group, working directly with Accenture’s team.
Does Inovaflow do ERP implementations or migrations?
We implement tools that enterprise teams buy, covering configuration, integration, data migration, project management, testing, training, and handover, and our team has done this since 2021. We do not run organization-wide ERP transformation programs. For a greenfield ERP rollout, use an SI or the ERP vendor’s implementation partner.
Who owns the code Inovaflow writes?
You do, from the first commit. The work lives in your repository, in your language, under your review process, and there is no per-connection fee.
How fast can Inovaflow deliver an integration?
Typically 2–4 weeks, and 1–2 weeks when scope and requirements are well defined. Owned sandbox environments for major ERPs remove the wait for access that usually delays the start of enterprise work.
How do I start a project with Inovaflow?
Book a free 30-minute scoping call. We map the systems involved, tell you which approach fits (including when it is not us), and send a fixed quote and timeline, usually within 24–48 hours.
